This special display celebrates over 100 years of people's memories of Heaton Park.
Park Life celebrates the history of Heaton Park. Once the home of the aristocratic Egerton family, Heaton Park and Hall now belong to the people of Manchester.
The Park has undergone many changes over the years reflecting wider social, economic and political trends, but its role in the community has remained constant: a place of both work and play
with special meaning for thousands of individuals.
Park Life brings together paintings, prints, photographs, objects and recordings in a wonderful evocation of the history of this well-loved local attraction. It can be seen during the summer season when the Hall is open to the public. For details of opening hours and dates, please see visitor information.
