Ceris believes creative dance transforms children’s imagination into movement. Having trained at Rambert and Royal Ballet School Ceris is now committed to inspiring children to create their own movement projects using art as a starting point. ‘Dance is an expressive art form that it is fun, provides a positive experience and is good for the soul.’
Harriet uses a range of arts mediums within her work and specialises in photography, exploring the photographic spectrum, from low-fi hand made cameras to new technologies. She explores human interaction and digital manipulation, capturing still life, spaces and people in places. Harriet completes projects with young people and is currently co-ordinating ‘Image & Identity’ addressing knowledge and awareness of self.
Tess is a visual artist and performer who works extensively in the UK and Australia. She has 14 years experience in the community arts sector and has worked with all age groups. Tess’s projects have a strong emphasis on ‘inclusive’ practice, through exploration and play with a variety of visual arts techniques/materials and drama games.

Sam is a practicing visual artist who has exhibited within the UK and abroad. Working extensively with local community art projects, Sam has helped facilitate, interior and exterior Murals with young people. She has experience of teaching pupils of all ages from primary to undergraduate and is currently working in a local primary school providing artist led workshops.
Originally trained in Fashion and Textiles, Saira taught Art and Drama in secondary schools where her ambitious art projects gained recognition in the TES and local press. Recently Saira has completed an Artist residency with 45 Year 6 pupils, resulting in a 120 sq foot mural about Manchester. Other work includes workshops at Bolton Museum and Art Gallery and the People’s History Museum.
Susie uses sculpture, installation and drawing in her practice. She exhibits regularly in the UK and abroad and pieces are held in various public and private collections around the world. Susie is a member of the Suite Studio group based in Salford and was recently shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize. Susie works with pupils of all ages including lecturing at colleges and on under/post graduate courses.

Katy studied Fine Art Painting at Chelsea College of Art and has exhibited throughout the UK. Her work as a gallery educator has engaged a wide variety of groups including school children, traveling communities, rough sleepers and young people. Projects include co-ordinating ‘Visual Dialogues’, an interactive exhibition that explored the themes ‘conflict and resolution’and featured two artworks on loan from Tate Britain.
Sandra developed a breadth of skills whilst working as Head of Art in a comprehensive school. She appreciates the challenge of developing a broad and balanced curriculum and enjoys working with other teachers to promote the value of art education. Sandra's specialist areas include drawing, painting and 3D design, and she runs annual ceramics courses for children aged 5-14.
Jim is well known for observations of urban life in his paintings and drawings depicting cat people. His work can be found in the Arts Council Collection, The Government Art Collection and here at Manchester Art Gallery. In Jim's workshops participants explore how to use the medium of comics to tell stories and promote messages.

Combining over 30 years experience in Early Years education with a passion for Art and Design, Miriam employs a creative cross-curricular approach that excites and inspires learning. Miriam was a Nursery and Reception teacher and has a degree in History of Art and Architecture. She also works at Bolton Museum and Art Gallery.
Pat is a painter who explores, experiments and plays with mixed media to create colourful and textural outcomes. By working intuitively to produce an image and not being concerned with controlling what the piece should look like, playful experiments provide an incredible creative process. Other work includes workshops at Christies Hospital and with the homeless through the Booth Centre.
Paul is a practicing artist who enjoys working with secondary schools and community groups. Projects include the theme of ‘Image and Identity’, which involved young people developing knowledge and awareness of themsleves. Paul can be seen teaching on an interactive learning resources for KS3 that promotes using the gallery environment to explore Citizenship issues, Creative Citizenship Project
Joanne worked in television production for the BBC on documentaries, studio programmes and outside broadcasts before joining the world of teaching. She is an experienced KS1 and 2 educator who specialises in using art and drama to support literacy.
